On January 26th, 2020, L.A. Lakers basketball legend Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and 7 other people, were tragically killed in a helicopter crash. The crash happened during foggy weather in the Calabasas area. I drew this drawing of him in my Sharpie scribble style, then mounted it on this skateboard deck, as my own personal tribute to him. As I'm starting a new chapter of my own life as a blogger, artist, photographer, and all around creative guy, it seemed fitting to start a blog about L.A. and Southern California places of interest with a tribute to Kobe Bryant, who we lost tragically just over a month ago.
